WindyShores I 201 - Oceanfront - Windy Hill Section

Condo was filthy. I would be ashamed if I was the owner of this unit and this is how they represented my home. Dirty food under couches, left over cat food, someone’s old flip flops, bar a soap left in shower, green floss pick on floor behind toilet, silverware drawer filthly, lots more to list. Shame on this rental company and their cleaning crew. They did offer to send someone, however we took the two hours out of our vacation time to clean it, so we said don’t bother. Not sure why we paid a cleaning fee- they clearly don’t use professional cleaners. Location was great

I will preface this review with I would definitely stay here again!
Things I loved:
-location
-the steps that lead straight to that amazing balcony
Things that I didn’t love:
- a new cleaning company is definitely needed. The room wasn’t ready by 4. Clothes and a vape were left in drawers. The floors were disgusting.
- there is too much “stuff” in the room.
- the rugs shed constantly. It’s like having hairballs rolling around on the floor
- there needs to be more storage/flat surfaces in the bathrooms

The condo was nicely furnished and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 11, but it felt a bit cramped at times. The big balcony helped with this. Most surfaces were clean, but they definitely need to hire a new cleaning service. Under the beds, behind the toilet seats, the baseboards, etc, have obviously not been cleaned in a long time. We had a good time and I'd still recommend this unit.

The property was in a great location-beach front and very easy to walk. It is very spacious and our family of 9 did not fell crammed. There is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep. It was a real workout bringing our luggage and groceries upstairs. This is something to really think about before booking if you cannot do stairs or carry too much weight. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all needed utensils, plates, pots and pans. The apartment however, was not very clean. We could not turn on the ceiling fans as there were big, dark, dust balls falling from them. It seemed like no one had ever bothered to clean under the sofas or the beds. I have a toddler who is learning how to walk and crawls everywhere. We were constantly taking off debris and dirt off his hands and this was a big inconvenience as we constantly had to hold him so that he wouldn't eat the nastiness that was on the floors. Overall we had a nice stay however, the cleaning leaves much to be desired, especially since we were charged $225 cleaning fee.

Great location, great views of the beach. Walk to beach is feet away. The cross street has a light so it's easy to turn on to Route 17 also. I would stay again; not the most up to date place in the world, but the location and view makes up for the few shortcomings (like old paintings on the wall, furniture).

We had a great time. The rental was perfect for our family. The deck was spacious and perfect for relaxing and watching the ocean. Beach access was just steps from condo.

The location was great, which was the best part! The place needed a deep cleaning, it wasn’t a tidy as I would have expected. The rugs were old and looked extremely dirty. The vacuum that was there didn’t work properly so I couldn’t clean the carpets. The kitchen had lots of pots and pans but could use an upgrade on necessary cooking utensils. The remnants upstairs were extremely loud and kept us up half the night with stomping. Overall we had a nice time but I would not stay there again unless it was deep cleaned from top to bottom and upgraded with new bedding.

This rental was nice. The covered patio was the best! I would of liked more towels, 9 people 2 towels per person, I felt like I spent to much time washing towels every day. I loved the location and would gladly stay here again!

Our 1st vacation as a family since both my sons became fathers. It was perfect! Location was quiet, yet close to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely go back.

This condo was everything we needed. The location is phenomenal! The beach in the area is not crowded (early May) and was so quiet. The property itself was beautiful and felt very high end. I would recommend to everyone!

Recently spent almost 3 months in this great condo on the ocean! With a huge balcony to sit, lie or just watch the dolphins swimming by it is a perfect place. Inside the 3 bedroom condo are all the amenities one needs for a short or long stay. Description of condo was spot on. We enjoyed walking on the beach everyday, nearby golf courses are plenty and pickleball could be found close by. Food and entertainment nearby was both good and varied. But if you want to stay in and cook everything you needed was there. Would love to go back!

Loved the condo. It was as advertised. Nice comfy furniture. Nice comfy beds.
Plenty of towels. Clean well decorated. Clean and was ready at 4:00pm as advertised. GREAT balcony. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, activities.
Would absolutely stay there again.

This was our first time at Windy Shores 1. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The biggest downfall I have is that there are not 2 DESIGNATED or RESERVED spots for #201. We had to leave one vehicle sit all week in fear of not having a space to park when we returned. We couldn't come and go as we pleased. It seamed like most others had this.

Loved the location of the condo... beautiful condo ... parking is the only issue we had. Our first day there and we did not have parking for our 2 cars. We had a great deal of stress .. had to park one car at another location. Worried about our car being safe and secure. Needs to have 2 parking spaces clearly marked reserved for that unut... so the other tenants don't use all the parking spaces. If you rent a unit that sleeps 10 people you need the 2 parking spaces that are promised in the rental arrangement.

The rental was exactly as advertised. The location was very convenient and the beach access was excellent. The unit easily accommodated 6 adults and to children. We were very satisfied and would certainly rent the unit again in the future.

This is a comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated condo located in a quiet and convenient area. The ocean view from the back porch is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. The only negative is the lack of an elevator, so if you are unable to climb stairs, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong here.

My family and I stayed here and truly enjoyed it. It was perfect location and we were hesitant at first as we normally stay in Cherry Grove. We looked at many places and glad we stayed here. Very clean and pool was nice. It wasn’t crowded and everyone around was nice. We loved being oceanfront. The balcony was spacious. We had to get an air mattress as when we booked it we were told it would sleep 12. Wasn’t an issue with us as they were just going to recline on the sofa. Young teenagers ?. Would recommend staying there and hope we can stay again another time. Everything you would need was in the kitchen. The only thing the kids wished were TVs in the other rooms, but we were busy enough and they have phones/tablets so wasn’t worried too much about that. Thank you and we will be contacting you again for sure.
