Ocean Towers Beach Club 701 - Oceanfront - Windy Hill Section

We have been staying here for several years now and we love it. This time, when we arrived, we were told that only one toilet was working. So, Saturday though Monday evening, 3 families had to share the toilet in the Master bedroom. I was assured that we would be discounted for the inconvenience and we were. It was still a great time and we will return...hopefully with 2 full baths the entire trip.

Everything was great except that one of our toilets was out of order when we arrived on Saturday. It wasn't repaired until Monday night. This was a big inconvenience since the only working toilet was in the master suite. We had 3 families using one toilet! I was promised a financial compensation for the major inconvenience that it caused...I am still waiting on the financial compensation. If they come through with that, I will change my satisfaction to 4 stars. Up until this year, it has always been 5 stars. I plan to return and stay with them again if they compensate us. It has been a great company so far.

My wife and I have been staying at Ocean Towers Beach Club (unit 701) for the past 7 winters. The place is fantastic. The owners take very good care of this unit. They provide us with everything we need for our stay. Always very neat and clean.

We loved the condo. It was clean and spacious. Check in was quick, but we would have rather not have had to check in at a separate location. The complex was clean and well maintained. Just a elevator ride to the beach. Easy parking, restaurants are just a 5 minute drive away. Tons of activities for the kids located just 10 minutes away. Kitchen fully stocked. Didn’t have to deal with the rental company much but everyone I did talk to was friendly.

Just a couple of concerns - we were not told in advance that the washer could only use one type of soap which very frankly I had never heard of; not sure what could be done with this one but when those renting the unit are responsible for cleaning the kitchen pots and pans, we found a lot of left over food stuck to the pans and having a scrubbing pad may help, dishes washed in dishwasher not a problem. For folks who have cable TV and not Roku can have a problem as we did - finally figured it out but for us senior citizens that kind of technology is hard to understand. We have our traditions in terms of restaurants - Chestnut Hills and the Chesapeake House - been going there for a long time. And of course Barefoot Landing special. We just thoroughly enjoyed kicking back and enjoying the wonderful ocean view - actually saw a red fox on the dunes.

The condo was okay. The comforters on the beds were thin. The ice maker didn't work. The balcony needs updated furniture, but what we had was okay. Other than those things, we enjoyed our stay.

My family has had at least one condo at Ocean Towers Beach Club since 1988. It began with my wife and our 5 children, and all these years later, it's now our 5 adult children, their spouses, and 7 grandchildren. #701 is the nicest condo we've even stayed in, as the owners did a fantastic job in remodeling the 3 bedroom 2 bath condo.
I haver also enjoyed working with North Beach Reality, and especially with Eileen Leibee (Vacation Rentals). Thank you!

Very Nice Oceanfront Condo with easy beach access. We stayed at this location Memorial Day Weekend for my daughter's 30th birthday celebration. The unit was clean and ready when we arrived. Check in was seamless and easy. I'm not sure if pets are allowed in this unit, when we opened the door it smelled as if a dog was present. Other than that, our stay was pleasant. Towels and washcloths were provided. The kitchen had all the items necessary to make meals, coffee pot. The pool was dirty when we arrived (raining) but the next day and remainder it was clean. The patrons and residents were friendly and the building quiet. I would recommend this property.

Spacious, nicely maintained, well equipped, 3 bedroom condo on the ocean. A few too many knickknacks. Very disappointed that the pool and the hottub were not in working order. The one lounge chair in the living room needs to be replaced: it slants to one side when you sit on it. Pricey, but would consider going back due to the location

The beach at this location is excellent. The rental until itself was decent and clean, but could use some updating. The pool and hot tub outside seemed completely neglected, so we did not see one person get in either one during our entire stay. The main property deck facing the ocean was completely empty. Not one chair. Older building. Not a Hilton.

We arrived and found the condo very clean and exactly as described. Its updated and spacious and in perfect proximity to the ocean. The balcony overlooking the beach is very nice! We can't wait to stay again!

The unit that we stayed in at Ocean Towers (701) was very nice. The furnishings were in very good shape, the kitchen was well equipped and appliances were up to date. The area was quiet and convenient to stores and restaurants. Loved it! We did have an issue with the AC, but it was repaired within a couple hours.

The condo was top notch with a double corner balcony located beachfront. The easy beach access was a straight walkout from building. The gourmet kitchen was fabulous and had all you would need. Another plus was the location minutes from Barefoot Landing. Our family will definitely be staying again in the future.

2020 marked the 33rd consecutive year for our family's annual vacation in North Myrtle Beach. In each of those years, we have rented at least one condo at the Ocean Towers Beach Club. One of the condos we had this year was #701. It is beautiful, as the owner has done a fantastic job in the total remodeling of the condo. Ocean Towers is in a great location, and our family - that has grown from 7 in 1988 to 18 now - looks forward to our 34th annual family vacation in 2021.
