For those that want to hear music in North Myrtle Beach be sure to mark your calendars now for the 2017 Sounds of Summer Concert Series. The concert series begins on Friday, June 16 at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex and take place each month from 7-9 p.m. Come out and enjoy an evening spent with family and friends listening and dancing to live music under the stars. One Friday each month from June 16 through Sept. 15 a different band will be performing family-friendly music. The 2017 Summer Concert Schedule:Friday, June 16 â" The Reggie Sullivan Band (Rock & Soul)Friday, July 21 â" Oracle Blue (Jazz/Pop/Funk)Friday, August 18 â" Steve Riley Quartet (Jazz)Friday, September 15 â" Snake Malone & Black Cat Bone (Blues Snack and drinks will be available for purchase. Bring a beach chair or blanket. Tobacco products, coolers, outside food and beverages are not permitted at the concerts. Events are free and open to the public.
